Li Lock, PhD
Dr. Li Lock is a sexuality researcher, program evaluator, and curriculum developer specializing in sexual wellbeing, gender development and identity, sexological worldview development, and sex and substance use. Dr. Lock is most interested in designing, researching, and evaluating multi-systemic anti-bias interventions to ultimately transform systems that create and reinforce inequities. Li began their career working with children and families in home-based and emergency room environments, and has since applied their training in relationship dynamics and systems theory to their work as an educator, researcher, and evaluator. Their projects have spanned topics from sexual decision-making, to STI and HIV testing and care, to whole family wellness and beyond. Dr. Lock received their PhD in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University in 2019, where their dissertation research explored psychosocial predictors of varying sexual behavior and subjective sexual effects people report while experiencing the effects of cannabis. Dr. Lock also holds a Master of Education from Widener University, a Master of Science in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island, and Bachelors of Science and Arts from the University of Georgia. In addition to their work at TTI, Li is a Senior Research Associate at ETR Associates. Li joined TTI in 2019, overseeing our evaluation program and tending to the research needs of the team.
